I realize that when most people hear the term Marriage Replenishment, the first thought that probably comes to  mind is, “it is for couples who want to save their marriages”. While it is true that Marriage Replenishment is for couples who want to save their marriages, Marriage Replenishment is also for couples who have good marriages and for couples who are planning on getting married as well. That’s right, Marriage Replenishment is for any couple who is looking to establish, repair, grow, or strengthen their marriages. Marriage Replenishment is capable of accomplishing all of these objectives very well.

Why the term Marriage Replenishment?

When I first came across the term Marriage Replenishment, I was praying and searching for a unique concept that would accurately represent the process of establishing, repairing, growing, and strengthening a biblical marriage. I found Marriage Replenishment to be the exact concept that I was seeking and praying for. Marriage Replenishment represents the heart of The Color of Marriage, Christian Marriage Replenishment Program, which is to help couples understand and live out God’s plan for marriage, so that they will be able to establish, repair, grow, or strengthen their marriages.

What exactly is Marriage Replenishment?

Marriage Replenishment is essentially the process of learning and applying biblical principles that encourage  couples to establish, repair, grow, or strengthen their marriages, so that they will be able to obtain or maintain healthy long-lasting marriages that pleases God and brings Him glory. It is essential that you learn, comprehend, and apply these biblical marriage principles that are directly or indirectly related to the conflicts and challenges of your marriage. When you do this, you fill, refill, or refresh (replenish) your hearts and minds (marriages) with the fresh  or forgotten  biblical  principles (information) that will motivate you to replace  old habits, thoughts, behaviors, and misconceptions that keeps you from having the marriage that you and God desires for you to have.

Consider the following scriptures –

2 Timothy 3:16 – All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;
(NASB)

Romans 12:2 “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (ESV)
